This is a beautifully designed compact and light weight wall bed. As it is an Italian product and uses European mattress sizes, we will include a 6 inch foam mattress with this unit. If you prefer a North American designed unit with a standard mattress and heavier frame have a look at the MurphySofa wall bed desks. The shelf on this Italian unit perfectly balances on the way up and down, no need to move items off the desk. This item ships light weight and easily installs. (mounting required).
